Participation Statement
What participation in the I-PACE Owners' Advocacy Group means.
This is a placeholder participation statement. It does not constitute legal advice.
Nature of the group
The I-PACE Owners' Advocacy Group is an informal owners' advocacy initiative. It is not currently incorporated as a company, charity, or formal legal entity. It does not have formal legal representation unless and until that changes and members are informed.
No legal advice
This website and this group do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this site should be taken as legal advice. If you require legal advice about your specific situation — warranty claims, consumer rights, or any other matter — you should consult a qualified solicitor or consumer rights adviser.
No client relationship
Joining this group or submitting data does not create a solicitor–client relationship or any other professional services relationship with any individual or organisation.
Accurate submissions
When submitting vehicle data or other information, owners are asked to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge. We understand that not all details may be known exactly — the forms are designed to accommodate uncertainty — but owners should not knowingly submit false or misleading information.
Use of submitted data
Data submitted by members may be used in anonymised aggregate reporting, subject to the consent options you select during the submission process. Data may be shared with JLR in the context of evidence-based engagement, in anonymised and aggregated form only, where members have consented to this use.
No guarantees
The group makes no guarantees about outcomes — warranty resolutions, recall outcomes, goodwill payments, or any other matter. We organise and advocate; we do not control JLR's decisions.
Changes to this statement
This statement may be updated as the group develops and its structure evolves. Members will be informed of material changes.
