Three days after one of our founding members sent Jaguar Land Rover an introductory email, JLR got in touch and held an exploratory call with the group.
Soon afterwards, JLR asked whether our founding member would be available for a face-to-face meeting in early September with its UK Director of Client Care. The proposed venue is Gaydon, home of JLR engineering, subject to final confirmation.
What this means — and what it does not
We hope this shows JLR is taking the group seriously and wants the opportunity to talk through the matters in our email face to face. It is not yet a substantive discussion of solutions or commitments: the date and venue are still being confirmed, and we are treating the invitation as the beginning of a dialogue rather than an outcome.
Our aim is to have direct, meaningful discussions with the appropriate people at JLR, informed by the real experiences of I-PACE owners.
A short window to strengthen the evidence
Between now and the start of September, we have a practical opportunity to build the strongest possible anonymised evidence base. More members give the group a clearer voice; more vehicles, battery readings and service experiences make the picture we take into the meeting more useful and credible.
We will prepare carefully, keep the engagement constructive and independent, and make sure the concerns and experiences of owners are represented clearly. We will keep members updated as arrangements develop.
Help us arrive prepared
If you know another I-PACE owner, please encourage them to join the group. Our shared target is 1,000 members, and every member helps show the scale of the community we represent.
If you are already a member, please sign in to My Data before September and add what you can:
- Your I-PACE vehicle
- Any available battery State of Health readings
- Your service, fault and repair history
Each record contributes to an anonymised picture of the issues owners are experiencing. That is the evidence we can responsibly reference when we meet JLR.
The group remains independent and evidence-led. We welcome this constructive engagement with JLR while staying focused on fair and consistent outcomes for I-PACE owners.
