Thank you to every member who took part. Together, 847 owners gave us a clear result to take into our 24 September meeting with Jaguar Land Rover.
The survey is now closed. Members could select every route they would support, mark one of the three main routes as their preferred outcome, and add optional comments. Full HV Replacement leads both measures: it received the most selections and the most preferred votes.
Three main routes members considered
847 responsesWinner
Full HV Replacement 681 selections · 420 preferred votesFull replacement of all HV modules and associated components, delivered reliably and consistently.
A transparent, fair price that recognises age and use without relying on a market value affected by the issues.
The proposed routes did not meet the member’s needs.
Members could select more than one acceptable route, so selection totals do not add up to 847. The option with the most selections wins, with preferred votes used to break an exact tie. Full HV Replacement leads both measures. Of the 847 respondents, 636 marked a preferred main route.

What the result tells us
Full HV Replacement is the clear winner. Its 681 selections reflect owners’ wish to keep their I-PACE when a reliable repair can restore confidence without repeated visits. A Fair Buy Back also received substantial support, showing why a fair choice remains important for owners whose circumstances or confidence are different.
Fair Compensation and Additional Concerns were offered alongside the three main routes. Their totals show that resolving the battery question alone will not address every owner’s experience.
501 comments will inform the detail
Members submitted 501 optional comment entries across the five choices. Some members commented on more than one choice, so this is a count of comments rather than individual commenters. We will use those comments to understand recurring concerns and the practical detail behind the headline vote. We will not publish members’ free text here.
Thank you for giving the group a clear voice
Every response has helped turn individual experiences into evidence we can present clearly. We are taking the result into our discussion with JLR and will update members as the work progresses.
